The City of Eastport has adopted and this office administers the following land use ordinances as well as mandated State of Maine Statues.
* Eastport Zoning Ordinance
* Eastport Sub-division Ordinance
* Eastport Flood Hazard Development Ordinance
* Eastport Airport Ordinance
* Eastport Sewer Ordinance
Applications for the various permits are submitted to the Code Enforcement Officer, acted upon or routed to the Planning Board, Zoning Board, or City Council for action.
Assistance with State and Federal land use permitting requirements is also provided. Copies of the local ordinances are on file at City Hall and copies are available for a fee in hard copy of digital format.
