The City operates through its economic and community development program a 72,000 square foot manufacturing facility which opened in 1998. The building houses Creative Apparel, a manufacturing firm that produces chemical warfare suits for the military and Tex-Shield, a manufacturer of the lining material that lines the suits.
The City is able to attract small (25 to 150 people) to the area through our own unique business partnership program. At the present time there is still 9,000 sq. ft. available in the facility, is your company looking for space, a place to expand, or nurture a new business line. Eastport could be the place for you.
