Dog licenses are issued at the clerk's office or online here. Dogs are required to be licensed at 6 months of age or after the dog has been with the family for 10 days, if adopted. Dogs being licensed for the first time in the city of Eastport can be licensed at any time during the year. Thereafter licensing season is October 15th through January 31st. If a dog is licensed outside of this time, a late fee will incur. A current rabies certificate and proof of spaying/neutering is required at the time of licensing.
