The predictions for the winter storm headed for Eastport suggest a major snow and wind event, with single digit overnight temperatures. According to the National Weather Service, the snow is expected to start late Sunday night and continue until Tuesday morning, with more than a foot of accumulation predicted.
As such, the City is now planning its response and will be making an announcement early Sunday morning with details.
Please note that the Eastport Parking Ordinance requires that all vehicles be parked off the road so as not to interfere with snow clearing; vehicles may be towed at owner expense if necessary.
