General Assistance

The City of Eastport administers a General Assistance Program that provides confidential financial assistance to those residents who are having difficulty meeting basic needs such as housing, utilities, and food.

The program is funded by property taxes with a 70% state reimbursement.

If this is a General Assistance Emergency and City Hall is closed, please contact the City Manager at 207-214-7647.
